League One Volleyball – the largest brand in youth volleyball with its professional league gearing up for a second season – announced its 2026 schedule today.
See the complete 2026 schedule.
The league’s highly anticipated second season will kick off in Austin on Wednesday, January 7 with 2025 champions LOVB Austin hosting LOVB Nebraska for the league’s First Serve. The match pits 2025 LOVB Finals MVP Madi Skinner and her Austin squad against Lexi Rodriguez in her debut match as Nebraska’s starting libero.
The next day, LOVB will continue to feed Lone Star State volleyball fever with LOVB Houston hosting LOVB Salt Lake in a matchup of reigning athletes of the year in Houston’s Jordan Thompson (2025 LOVB Opposite Hitter of the Year) and Salt Lake’s Manami Kojima (2025 LOVB Libero of the Year). In all, athletes with 10 Olympic medals will be competing on the court in Houston January 8.
Rounding out the week one slate, on Saturday, January 10, LOVB Madison — led by setter Lauren Carlini and Olympic gold medalist Xiangyu Gong — will welcome LOVB Salt Lake. On Sunday, January 11, the league will feature two more top matches: LOVB Austin versus LOVB Atlanta will be a rematch of 2025 championship semifinals where Austin pulled off a reverse sweep to go to the title match, while setter Micha Hancock takes on fellow Olympic medalist Jordan Larson when Houston comes to Nebraska.
Tickets for select matches are available now; check back soon for tickets to additional matches, available by the end of November. Visit lovb.com/tickets-central to purchase single match tickets. Information on season ticket memberships may be found at lovb.com/season-tickets.

Season two will showcase a number of enhancements that will elevate the level of play. Each team will now play 20 matches that will be evenly split between at home and on the road, except for one neutral site match at the LOVB Classic. No other neutral site games will occur, and teams are provided at least one day between matches.
New in 2026, every Wednesday night will feature one match, LOVB’s Match of the Week, to be broadcast in prime time on USA Network. Atlanta hosts Austin in the first Match of the Week on Wednesday, January 14. Every team will be featured on the exclusive national broadcast at least twice.
Also changing in season two is the League’s postseason format, which will now take place over two weekends in April. Four teams will make the semifinal round April 9-11, with two two-match series set in one location still to be announced. The winner of the two semifinals will meet in another two-match series to determine a champion.
Following the success of its inaugural season, the league will once again host the LOVB Classic in February in Kansas City, Missouri. While the three day-long volleyball celebration will once again see professional and junior athletes compete alongside one another, LOVB’s three pro matches will be treated as regular season matches instead of a bracketed tournament.
Venues have also been announced for the season. Both LOVB Austin and LOVB Nebraska will host one match apiece in arenas outside of their city to strengthen ties to volleyball fans throughout their regional communities. Austin will host Houston at San Antonio’s Frost Bank Center on Saturday, January 24, and Nebraska expands the pro game even further into the State of Volleyball by facing Salt Lake at Grand Island, Nebraska’s Heartland Events Center.
Confirmed venues for each team are as follows:
- Atlanta: Gateway Center Arena
- Austin: H-E-B Center, Frost Bank Center (San Antonio)
- Houston: Fort Bend County EpiCenter, Berry Center
- Madison: Alliant Energy Center
- Nebraska: Baxter Arena, Heartland Events Center (Grand Island)
- Salt Lake: SLCC Bruin Arena
- LOVB Classic: Municipal Arena
