Inaugural Jerseys Designed Specifically for the Women Who will Wear Them

League One Volleyball and adidas revealed the jerseys for its six Pro teams Thursday ahead of its inaugural season that begins in January 2025.

The jerseys, product of a groundbreaking partnership between adidas and LOVB, cater to the evolving needs of modern women athletes. They enhance both performance and comfort while reflecting both the strength and femininity of the players.

“In designing our professional league, we’re being intentional about how we build for the specific needs of women athletes, and in adidas, we have found a partner who is as passionate about uplifting women athletes as we are,” Rosie Spaulding, President of LOVB Pro, said. “It’s not about just doing right by our athletes, but also providing them with apparel that will enable them to reach new professional heights.”

Jerseys for the six LOVB Pro teams are just the beginning for adidas and LOVB’s partnership. The insights gained from LOVB’s Athlete Council, a group of 14 Olympic medalists and multiple world champions, will be used in the development of future uniforms, as well as gear for LOVB’s 60 junior clubs and more than 14,000 youth athletes. 

“With more than 38 million current and former volleyball players in the US alone, we are thrilled to partner with LOVB to outfit today and tomorrow’s athletes,” said Christine Shelby, Director of Volleyball at adidas shared at the time of the partnership’s launch.

Replica jerseys will be available at the LOVB store closer to the start of the season, which kicks off on January 8, 2025, when LOVB Salt Lake Volleyball visits LOVB Atlanta Volleyball in LOVB’s inaugural first match. The remaining four teams start their campaigns January 9-10 in Houston, Texas during the first Weekend with LOVB.
