For nearly three decades, Inside Out Volleyball has been shaping volleyball in West Michigan and now they’re joining the LOVB family.
Originally founded as Port City Juniors before establishing their permanent home as Inside Out Juniors in 1996, the club has grown into one of the region’s most trusted programs. Inside Out’s home base is located in Muskegon, MI and they have a satellite program at Morley Stanwood High School to expand access to players across the area while continuing to shape the local volleyball community.
Inside Out Volleyball is driven by a clear mission: to provide as many opportunities as possible for kids to learn and love the game. Offering year-round programming, the club emphasizes high-quality instruction, collaboration among its coaches, and an environment where athletes can grow their skills and confidence.
More than 250 players have gone on to compete at the collegiate level and alumni have returned to become coaches themselves. With decades of combined coaching and playing experience, Inside Out Juniors’ staff continues to set a standard of excellence both on the court and in the community.
Club director, Rick Rykse says, "We’re proud to announce we’re officially joining forces with the LOVB family as this partnership opens incredible opportunities for our coaches and players and the entire West Michigan volleyball community. By joining LOVB, we’re aligning with a national movement that shares our same passion for growth, community, and opportunity at every level of the game. This is a major step forward for our club, and we look forward to what’s ahead!"
With their history of excellence and community impact, Inside Out Volleyball joins LOVB in building a future where more athletes and communities are supported, and volleyball continues to thrive nationwide.
