To all of our LOVB Club athletes and families–thank you for making our first season of LOVB Pro unforgettable!
Whether you were cheering from the stands or watching from home, your energy, enthusiasm, and support were felt by every player, coach, and fan. This inaugural season was special because of you.
From anthem buddies and jersey swaps to qualifiers and seats filled at Pro arenas, we were lucky to connect with so many of you throughout the season. Some of you traveled to attend matches in person, while others threw watch parties in team gear or tuned in from across the country. However you showed up, we saw it and we’re so grateful.
Your support created a vibrant community that extended far beyond the Pro cities. It’s the moments of connection–club athletes meeting their favorite players, your cheers in the gym, your excitement via social media–that remind us exactly why we built this league.
The season concluded with the thrilling three-day LOVB Finals that showcased just how competitive and unpredictable this league can be. The postseason had it all–reverse sweeps, huge upsets, and high intensity plays.
LOVB Austin, the #5 seed with a 5-11 regular season record, shocked fans with back-to-back reverse sweeps–first over LOVB Salt Lake in the quarterfinals, then against top-seeded LOVB Atlanta in the semis. In the championship match, they faced #6 seed LOVB Omaha and brought home the title in straight sets, powered by grit, passion, and relentless determination.
