Here’s everything you need to know before attending a match in Gateway Center Arena

Code of Conduct

LOVB has developed a Fan Code of Conduct that embodies the league’s values of inclusion, respect, and understanding. This code of conduct was designed as a guide for fans and to support the creation of a community that is welcoming to all. Please be advised that the following behaviors do not encompass our community values, and will be not accepted at our Matches:

Behavior that is unruly, disruptive, threatening or illegal in nature.
Intoxication or other signs of alcohol or substance impairment that results in irresponsible behavior.
Foul or abusive language or obscene gestures.
Interference with the progress of the Match, including throwing objects onto the floor.
Entering or attempting to enter the court, the team bench areas, the team locker room tunnel, or any other location other than that permitted by the fan’s ticket or credential.
Failing to follow requests from venue staff regarding stadium operations, policies and emergency response procedures.
Declining to promptly return a ball that enters the stands.
Verbal or physical harassment of any fans.
Unreasonably obstructing the view of other fans.
Displaying signs, symbols, images, clothing, using language or making gestures that are threatening, abusive, or discriminatory, including on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, ability, and/or sexual orientation.
Any conduct deemed inappropriate or dangerous to fans, participants or team members.
Conduct that results in damage to the venue or other personal property.

Inappropriate actions will not be tolerated, and may be subject to ejection from the arena and/or revocation of tickets. We encourage you to enjoy the game while cheering for our players and teams in a respectful manner.

Parking:

Clear Bag Policy

Clear plastic bag not exceeding 16” x 8”x 16”, including clear fanny packs and backpacks of the same size. One-gallon clear plastic storage bags are also acceptable.

Smaller non-clear bags are also permitted into the venue; small clutch purses no larger than 5” x 9”x 2”.

List of Prohibited Items:

Outside food or drink
Coolers, bottles, cans or hydration packs (i.e. Camelbacks)
Backpacks, large purses, duffle bags and luggage
Clear bags must be smaller than 12”x 12”x 6”
Bags with medical necessity require special accommodations will be allowed.
Tablets and Laptops.
Video or audio recording equipment
Professional photography equipment to include tripods or monopods
Cameras with a lens that exceeds 90mm.
Laser pointers
Large umbrellas
Large Banners and Flags that exceed the size limit of 11 x 17.
Balloons
Fireworks
Selfie sticks and action cameras (i.e. GoPros)
Hover boards, skateboards and rollerblades
Illegal drugs and alcohol
E-cigarettes
Weapons of any kind, including lawfully concealed firearms
Pepper spray, Mace, Tazers, etc.
Artificial noise-making devices
Drones
Pets except for service animals
Aerosol cans
Frisbees
Strollers
Beach balls
Any item deemed to compromise public safety by Arena Security or Staff

Dangerous or disruptive conduct will result in ejection from the premises. Gateway Center Arena reserves the right to deny entry or access.

Smoking Policy:

Guests are not allowed to smoke in the Gateway Center Arena or Georgia International Convention Center. For Arena events, there is an outside Smoking Area located on the West side of the building entrance. You must stand at least 50 feet away from the building. Please note that Gateway Center Arena will not grant re-entry if you exit during an event.
