Known widely as the Walter Pyramid, the LBS Financial Credit Union Pyramid is one of the iconic volleyball venues in the western United States. Home to Long Beach State’s Women’s and Men’s Volleyball and Basketball teams, the Pyramid has hosted several NCAA events, including men’s volleyball national championships and the 2023 women’s basketball regional finals. It opened in 1994 and is believed to be the largest space-frame structure in North America.
