From Bratislava, Slovakia, Palgutova is an outside hitter who has played collegiately at St. John's University where she was named to the All-Big East team four times. She is part of the Slovakia women's national volleyball team, and competed at the 2019 Women's European Volleyball Championship. She's played professionally in France and Switzerland, where she has helped lead teams to gold in French Ligue A, the 2021/2022 French Cup, the Slovakian Extraliga, the 2011/2012 and 2010/2011 Slovakian Cup and recognition at 2011/2012 MEVZA as Best Server.
