AVCA Club Director of the Year: Gabe Aramian
This past weekend, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) hosted its annual convention in Tampa, Florida, bringing together athletes, coaches, club directors and volleyball fans enthusiasts for a great week of volleyball, education, networking and fun. This also marked the eighth consecutive year of AVCA’s Club Awards program, an initiative designed to recognize exemplary coaches and club directors within the youth volleyball club community.
It is with great pride that we celebrate the noteworthy achievement of one of our LOVB Club Directors; Gabe Aramian of A5 Volleyball Club, who was honored with the title of Club Director of the Year for the 2022-2023 season by the AVCA. This recognition underscores the depth of Gabe’s commitment to the Atlanta volleyball community and his deep expertise in the sport.
“Gabe cultivates an elite training environment that helps athletes achieve their full potential. He also has built a team of talented coaches and staff that are devoted to growing the sport of volleyball and impacting the lives of young people” says LOVB COO of Clubs, Kim Kitchens.
Gabe has been involved in the Atlanta volleyball community for the past 15 years and has had extensive involvement with A5. He’s taken on various roles within the club, including coaching teams that have been ranked as high as #1 in the country, and he’s previously earned the AVCA title of 16s Coach of the Year in 2016, and he was finalist in the 2020 & 2021 AVCA Club Director of the Year.
LOVB extends a huge congratulations to Gabe on this well-deserved honor and we wish him and A5 a very successful 2023-2024 season!
