An outside hitter from Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Sarah graduated from the University of Minnesota, where she gave the Gophers their first ever AVCA National Player of the Year nod. A member of the U.S. National Team since 2017, she won gold at 2023 NORCECA Pan Am Cup Final Six and was named MVP at the 2019 NORCECA Champions Cup.
